Anyone else catch the Gapersblock link to Rahm's Wolf Blitzer interview? I didn't realize that he was putting in 25 miles on Saturdays. Anyone able to vouch for this?

Lower Wacker Madness - my office is right off of Madison and Wacker and I have to access the bike room (and car garage) via Lower Wacker. The construction is a bit scary and it's been a trip to ride through a different obstacle course each day. But.....they've managed to keep the garage open throughout the construction. Seriously, it's a mess down there, but I haven't flatted yet and with little traffic, it's actually kind of fun to maneuver through the underside of the Loop.

I doubt he's on the LFT at 5:45. That's against the rules, remember? (Lakefront Trail now officially closed overnight?)
But, let's say he is out there for an hour. That's got him clocking 25mph/hr. Not bad! Maybe he has a security/training team riding with him, elevating that pace.
Ha ha, good point. Garry McCarthy might make an exception for his boss.
I'm quite sure that crazy ballerina can haul ass on his bike.

A favorite quote in a favorite book.
I think I may read it on my next couple of days off...

Uh oh, Rahm hurt his ankle today ... it has derailed his triathlon training...he confesses he prefers the swim and bike legs over the run...
