Those who occasionally bike farther afield might be interested in my description and pix from Wisconsin's Elroy-Sparta Trail. Fun stuff.

It's on my blog, Mr. Pither: http://misterpither.blogspot.com/

Also a short entry on the Londonesque Bike the Drive.

My dad and I were just talking about doing this trail yesterday!

Love the blog.  Wish I kept a better record of my rides.

This trail is definitely worth the trip.  I love the tunnels.  I think the third one is 3/4 of a mile long.  Bring a light.  And since they drilled through springs, its like its raining inside at times.

The town of Wilton had a good restaurant called Gina's Pies are Square, which is now called The Square Pie.  Hopefully the new owners have maintained the quality.

The Elroy-Sparta is the most interesting of the 4 connected trails that go for 100 (flat) miles from Reedsburg to Trempeauleu on the Mississippi

Thanks! I'll definitely give "The Square Pie" a try next time.
