I saw them last night and while I thought they were cute, I couldn't imagine using them as serious security for my bike.
They were also kind of an awkward length--not long enough to go around both the front and back wheel, or to go around a bigger pole.
I could imagine using one as a supplement to a U-Lock, but I would be worried to use one on it's own.
I've been using the small Party Frank model for this same purpose for several months. It matches my bike.
As with any cable, these are a deterrent more than high security, but as we all know -- nothing is foolproof.

Cable lock = Stolen bicycle
That is truly my belief in the city.

Oh my, the mouse from Die Sendung mit der Maus.
That brings back many happy childhood memories
Thanks, Serge

Ha! Cool. I had no idea this Maus is of any particular significance. I was born and raised in the Soviet Union and, understandably, there were no TV programs from the then Western Germany, neither for children nor grown-ups. The only German show for kids I remember (and used to watch) is (was) the DDR's Mach mit, Mach's nach, Mach's besser.
