By "legal rep" you mean me with with a "Bike Advocacy Law for Dummies" book, right??

Ethan we love you.  Can you wear the outfit you wore to the bike town bash?

Awwww, gracias Julie!

I'll try to make an appearance, no guarantees on the outfit though...I'll probably be wearing my Swap set-up clothes (aka track jacket and jeans).

With on-the-fly thinking like that no wonder you're a Big Shot downtown! ;-)

BTW, can I borrow your copy of "Bike Advocacy Law for Dummies" book?

Does your track jacket have matching pants like the adidas guy from "What's Up With That"? I'm sure folks would love to see you do his dance!

Thanks to all who came out to West Town Bikes' Winter Meltdown at the Empty Bottle on Friday. A great time was had by all and it raised over $2200 for youth and community programs at WTB!

A special thanks to the Following:

The Empty Bottle for hosting, Black Bear Combo, The Velcro Lewis Group, Rabble Rabble and DJ Scrabblor for the entertainment, New Belgium Brewing, The Ultimate Bike Quiz Judges Dave "Mr. Bike" Glowacz and Kevin "Boulevard Bikes" Womac, SRAM, Revolution Brewing and the many other local businesses and individuals who donated prizes for our raffle, the WTB staff and super volunteers and a big thanks to Al "the Pal" Schorsch for organizing and pulling off a bike party the likes of which Chicago had never seen before!

No joke, one of the best events I have ever been to for West Town, or any other group.

I had to leave suddenly due to a tenant calling and telling me the fire department was on the way . . . just as well since I had to be rolling by 6 AM to make it to the swap;  but I was hella impressed with the way this event was set up and run, and regret not being able to fully commit to enjoying it.  Hopefully next year we can spread the big events a little more evenly throughout the Bike Winter season.

I uploaded my six photos from the Winter Meltdown.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Velcro Lewis Group, and especially the electric washboard.
