The S-curve was a dirt singletrack through the ice but passable. Lots of sand just south of Fullerton but not the worst I've seen it.
South of Fullerton, few hundred feet. Sand's not too deep, and you probably can take a detour on a muddy path which parallels the trail at that point.
in it to win it said:How big were the sand stretches? I was planning on LFP for my ride home tonight.
I usually ride parrellel to the bus routes home, that way if the wind gets too bad or I have mechanical problems, I can just jump on the bus.

I can hear the wind gusting out there. I rode into the office this morning, but now I'm wondering about riding home tonight. I've got a couple of hours left at the office, so I hope folks will report after thier commute home.
Yes.
Windy on the way home. At this point I'm sort of craving a bit of snow cover to brighten up all the garbage left behind by melted snow.
Windy again today. But I'll take it over zero degrees!
Makes the ride North in the PM quite nice (unless wind changes direction)!
Today was pretty windy, but the best part of the riding today was coming home after the chainlink bar night and NOT having to do the undressing, unlayering dance before going to the restroom.
