My racing team puts on a bike race every year, the Sherman Park Criterium. Filmmaker and bike lover Peter Wiese made this little video of his impressions of that lovely summer day. SO nice on such a cold, wintry day.

And you can see me post up at approx 1:44.

Cool!

The Evanston Healthcare Crit was right by my work back in July (or was it June?), and I just hung out outside a friend's shop who also worked at a place on the course. Lots of fun to see 30+ bikers go wizzing by again and again.

Be sure to post next year's date in the calendar section.
Cool, there's a small cameo by my bike. Nice video, did you guys do something similar for Jackson Park?
Not that I'm aware of -- someone should do Montrose, the opposite of a perfect summer day.

Evanston was my first crash. Not sure I'm going to race it next year.

The BK Stacker is a powerful disincentive to race. There's always at least one or two crashes there every race. It's a shame given that it's one of the few races that you can ride to and race in.

Word! Its not just your own ability to corner, its the ability of the racers in front of you that matters. There are a LOT of corners in that course.
