Make it so Howard.
I have secured a Santa suit and need some advice from veteran Santa Rampagers. How warm is this bad boy going to be? (I mean when it's not actually on fire). Do I layer as though I'm not wearing a Santa suit at all or do I treat it as the faux-flannel layer which it purports to be? I know I can add/remove layers enroute, but wanted to avoid that clammy sensation you get when you're making your own "bowl full of jelly."
Thanks.

Pair of pants underneath, 2-3 layers of upper garment underneath (I'd skip a coat or jacket) and your usual foot/hand/neck/headwear for winter riding, I'd say. It does act as another layer. And it's not exactly the kind of ride where you're going to generate much heat (once you get there).
howard, don't you and I live near each other? if so I could grab it ...say maybe for Laura to use?

Gonna try-- working 'til one.
I'd offer up my Santa suit but for most people it would be more convenient to just go buy one than to make it down to my place.

Who wants to write a Rampageous blog post for the bike winter site? I can't make it to the Rampage (and I'm not sure my liver can handle it!) but I'd love some on the scene reportage with PHOTOS. Just a paragraph (or four) and a few great photos would work.
Contact me if you're into it. I'll set it up on the blog. All I need is your text and images.
Final prep! I'll be broadcasting on MassUp.us for stragglers and voyeurs:
Santa/Dreidel/Holiday Rampage ride, gathers in Twisted Spoke after 11am Saturday 12/18, 501 N. Ogden Ave.
