Wanted to catch this at the Music Box Theatre awhile back.
The Cyclocross Meeting A film by Brian Vernor
THE CYCLOCROSS MEETING is a documentary meditation on the sport of cyclocross and the human connections it inspires around the world.
A film about the currently exploding US cyclocross scene, and the emerging Japanese cyclocross scene. The Cyclocross Meeting follows Barry Wicks and Adam Mcgrath to top US races in New Jersey and Oregon, and then to Japan, where they compete with seven time Japanese National Champion Keiichi Tsujiura, and the up and coming talent Yu Takenouchi. Also featuring 35 year veteran bicycle framebuilder Nakagawa.
I own B.I.K.E., commercial DVD copy. Would lend or dupe for the fest. But gotta say, it's not pretty. Well done technically, captures some strong drama among a freak biker type crew, but not uplifting.
I just happened to notice that one Monty Python episode is all bike. Saw it yesterday as part of a marathon. I think it's super funny and totally appropriate for the fest if there's still a half hour of need.
Monty Python's Flying Circus, Season 3 Episode 8, 1972.12.07, 0:32, "The Cycling Tour"
The trans-Europe adventure of Mr. Pither, his amnesiac companion, and their crash resistant food. The first series episode to feature a full length story.

Just ordered Jitensha from the director. Apparently he's cool about screening the film at Bike Winter Film Fest and would love to hear about it and the reactions.
Yes I have the commercial DVD of We Are Traffic (came with Return of the Scorcher). It's such a cornerstone, I presume many've already seen or own it. Am acquiring the Monty Python now. I hold pretty much everything listed here, several due to this fest.

This is a great suggestion (Re: MP) thanks!
I've heard BIKE is not a terribly satisfying film.
Do you own "We Are Traffic?"
Was thinking about structuring the day into different riding styles-- got Cyclocross, road racing, mountain biking, possibly freak-biking covered- that leaves transportational/lifestyle cycling.
