I don't think the temperatures in the bathroom are a problem. The steam would be since it'd likely get into cracks and crevices and promote corrosion. How about hanging the bike on the wall or from the ceiling in some room?

So living room, dining room, and kitchen and are not an option, what other rooms are there(besides bathroom)?

secondly - 6 bikes?! really? how many people are you living with?

Options: Build upwards. Get a vertical rack.

I'll second the steam leading to corrosion if your frames are steel.
I've got an XPORT Bikes Aloft 2 Storage Rack that sits in my hall way. I bought a second pair of arms and put my lightest bike on the opposite side, with my heaviest bike on the floor below it. So I have 4 bikes taking up the space of 2 side by side.

As stated, the little wall rack thingy is a good solution when space is tight. One like that Dimension one Fred linked to would be good. In the bathroom, the steam would wreck your chain and freewheel/cassette and not be good for a steel frame obviously.
