I'm still in. :)

I wouldn't even mind trying for Starved Rock again, but I don't want to wait a month for another trip. I think we need a core group of about 5 committed to riding baring medical emergency. Something solid to hold on to.

I think it helped our Illinois Beach trip that people had to reserve sites. When people invest monies, they tend to stick to plans. :) Can't always do that though. We just need a solid base.

If we don't do the Rock, then where else?

funny, i would have imagined that solid reservations would deter folks, and an open invitation like this one would welcome more. but youre right. reserving sites solidified the deal.

there is always the other Rock...cut rock. never been, dont know if its any good nor if the ride is fun.

Well this ride was substantially longer and went through Monday. I'd sort of imagine those two things deterred a lot of people from coming.

To this weekends one? I'm not going as I don't think anyone else is, at least riding down. Next time, yes. I'm quite down with the bike camping thing.
