Chicago Tonight April 13 Bike Safety

Unfortunately, my upstairs neighbor fell off his bike and broke his pelvis. His wife is a producer for Chicago Tonight on Channel 11, WTTW, so what do you think she did in her time of crisis.....she told her bosses what was going on and they produced a story about bike safety featuring his tribulations which will air Tuesday night, April 13 at 7pm on channel 11. Ironically, he is also coming home from the hospital that same day. A broken pelvis is not fun, so don't try this at home. He is expected to have a full recovery, but no bike riding this summer.

good timing as many folks are dusting off the bikes after a long winter and getting tune-ups and fixing flats (but not us - Noooooooo !).

I would really hope they would coordinate with CPD and show that (really well-made) video segment about
guidelines / laws for both motorists *and* cyclists. everyone could use a reminder.
