Does anyone know what they are filming at the North Ave, Damen and Milwaukee intersection? On Friday the whole intersection was blocked off in a one block radius. The intersection has been open but there was still some filming going on. There was a setting set up where a black cop car is on the sidewalk in front of the bank that's in between Damen and Milwaukee (forgot the name) and there was a body on top of it with broken glass everywhere. It's was pretty cool to see while riding to work this weekend, anyone else see it?

it was pretty cool and cheesy at the same time.

it looked like a new crime show along the lines of ATF...the cop cars just said "Police" (not "Chicago Police").

they had some bad guy (lol) run and then a massive SWAT team surrounded him and they had a bunch
of extras all put there hands up against a wall and kept shouting "effen spread-em" .. or something like that.

btw - chainlink was well represented as we had just ridden there from the REI garage sale and then had
a drink to celebrate ambers birthday.
I did not care for it much because their production crew not only completely blocked the bike line to have a little 'meeting' but they where complete jag-dorks when I asked them to move so I could pass.
That's cool Dan, I'm bummed I missed the "sale." Who was "we" and where did you guys meet up for drinks at?
Got held up by them trying to pick my son up from school (by bike of course). Had to weave around them going to work the next day. Saw them one last time and started chanting:

Hollywood Cops! Hollywood Police! Cops Hollywood! Police Hollywood!

It was fun listening to all of the locals come in and complain about how Hollywood screwed up their day.

I sure hope the city makes a lot of money from this. It made commuting by bike inconvenient.

Now if they spend wisely is an entirely different matter.
