Hi everyone,

I was just checking out the schedule and I see that the time limit for the June 26 400K brevet is 20 hours. Is this a typo?

I see in the RUSA Rules for Riders the brevet time limits. 27h for 400K. I think my question is answered.

Update from the GLR RBA.

Verona is gone. I don't want to publish the routes yet, until we have a firmer approval of our new routes from RUSA. But it will be very soon. Please keep an eye our for the 200K and 300K routes posted to the GLR web site (http://www/glrrando.org) by mid to late March.

Verona was a nice stop but maybe this means we won't have to ride on M and that would be just fine with me :)

I know Jim had said last year that Verona had disallowed painting any arrows on the pavement within the city limits, so this may have been a factor in removing Verona as well.

I liked the bike shop there, but honestly, the 200 km last year was the only time on a brevet that I have actually needed a bike shop. And the reason I needed it was really due to poor planning on my part (not bringing a third tube, not bringing gloves that would work in the rain that was sure to come). So I will gladly give up this "advantage" of Verona not to have to ride on the busy roads coming into Verona any more. I think rider safety always has to be the number one concern, and going into Verona on those busty roads in the rain on the 200 km last year was pretty dicey.

Do you have any more "hints" for us Jim until you post the new routes?
