I love you Martin. If suddenly all the feminists on CL stop talking to me I'd be ok. ;-)
I think there should be a calendar (like the TYK one) of the hot bicycle men in Chicago. Ladies who bike like eye candy, too!
There is...

Wow...I didn't know. That's cool. I bought the women's calendar because I didn't realize there was a men's. Right on!

P.S. Iggi, I like the way you think. ;)
Bike boys don't need those costumes. Let's get back to basics. Just give me a calendar that will facilitate hot fantasies about freshly greased ball bearings in my bottom bracket.

yes...greasing the bottom brackets.

I think I'm getting my bottom bracket worked on tonight, it's been a couple of days since I had it overhauled last...

I've been working on my bottom bracket on my own lately...I could really use a hand. You know, somebody who has the right tool for the job would be a great help.
I think most of us could agree these sorts of jobs work best on trade. One greased bottom bracket for one polished down tube, for example.

Hmm.. resisting all "quick release" innuendos....

Fair trade would depend on the type and amount of work to be done. Is it a sealed bottom bracket, or loose bearings? Does it just need to be relubed or a 10.000 mile overhaul?

Oh, of course. The trade system is definitely modified on a case by case basis, though if it's a sealed bottom bracket there might be complications that some mechanics might not be ready to take on.

I'm very tired of 30 degrees, cloudy, and everything damp/muddy. This was my first winter that I biked all winter long, but... Man, I could go for a 75 degree day, iced coffee, and clear bike path.
