I have a Timbuk2 Brown/Orange medium Hemlock bag.  It doesn't really suit my biking needs very well.  The roll down closure is cool, but not easy when I need to get in and out of the bag quickly and I can't see over my shoulder that well with it.  The material is generally waterproof but not the seams.  It has a stash pocket in back as well as a 'laptop' pocket, side and front pocket.  Red lights go well on the Timbuk2 logo on the bottom.  T2 bags hold up real well and are very durable.  Also, it has a bottle opener on one of the shoulder straps...Nifty.  It's pretty tall but not as spacious as it looks.  I would like to give this bag (for free) to a dedicated biker who would use it a lot.  I figured this would be a decent place to find an owner for it.  The medium size does not suit small torsos very well.  If you would like this, let me know why you should get it for free.  Pick up only.

I would love this bag, my messenger bag has been hurting my shoulder. I ride to school and work everyday form Andersonville to the south loop. This bag would help me even out the weight of my tools and school books over two shoulders. I was looking into getting a new bag as soon as I had some more money for one.

I'd be abel to pick it up tomorrow morning/afternoon. Let me know what time would work for you. I have to work at Grand and Michigan at 4pm.
aint that a shame about the waterproofing??...great material, but complete fail at the seems. i purchaed a messenger T2, one of the larger ones. seemed like a great idea. but when you load it up to capacity...that shit really starts to hurt your back. i have since switched to an REI lightweight two-strap pack thats tall and narrow, which addresses the 'not seeing over the shoulder' issue. and really saved my spine. it has a waist strap that helps distribute the weight if loaded up. the padded back is nice also. drawbacks...not waterproof (solved with a separately purchased waterproof cover), and access to the shit thats at the bottom of the bag. REI's previous model of the same bag had a front side zipper allowing access to that shit at the bottom without having to take everything out. i cant imagine why they wouldnt keep that feature.

im not vying for the bag...just felt like discussing bags. tho it would be cool to have.
Jon,

I haven't heard anything about picking this bag up.

Lucas.
Weird, I emailed you back a few days ago but it's all good. It's ready to be picked up whenever you want it. I'm free this whole week pretty much. Let me know what works.
