Jackie! My name's Ben. I'm one of the point folks for Chicago Hardcourt ("little beirut" - style) and we'd love to have you out. We we're in fact at the UIC location for a while but we've recently moved back to Garfield Park. Sundays at 2 - ??? and Wednesdays 6 -???. This Sunday (Nov. 1st) we'll be in Milwaukee, leaving early. You're more than welcome to come with us. Otherwise we'll be back in Garfield next Wednesday. Hope to see you - and everyone else here - soon.

I talked to a guy named Ben tonight at Blue City Cycles who's part of the group that plays at Aberdeen and Taylor. He was also part of the Chicago team that just played in Nationals. The games there are hardcourt, three-on-three. Beginners are welcome, encouraged, etc. Sundays they play 2 pm-9 pm, though he admitted to be on the safe side, don't get there until 3 pm. I did play polo up until i started rotations this year. They usually play on sundays and I think they are back to playing in garfield park because they got kicked out of the place by UIC, but I'm not totally sure. This sunday i'm pretty sure they're going to MKE for a tournament, but brandon is right the man to talk to is Ben Shultz and he's a mechanic at Rapid transit, or just go on the chicago bike polo website and there should be information there. Good luck, and if I get a weekend off, i'll see you out there.

Oh that's awesome! I'm going to try to come out Wednesday - but I guess it depends on how much homework I have to do/due that night. Do I have to bring a mallet? Oh man, I have no idea what I'm doing - I'm going to be really embarrassed....
