Chicagoland Beer Exploration Society

Information

Chicagoland Beer Exploration Society

Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).

Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

Routes on Ride with GPS, here.

On Facebook, here.

On Twitter, here.

Lists of breweries and brewpubs (and other beer things): on Facebook, and on Twitter.

Thanks for sharing, good news on the year-around Shore Shore service for bikes!

89°, headwind, got super dehydrated. drank 4 big glasses of water before my beer, took a nap, and caught the train home.

they changed their schedule 4 days earlier without telling me, but thankfully it just meant my train was 3 minutes later than i thought.

great news: "Bikes on Trains is now year-round on all trains when you board and disembark at designated bike stations."

Sure.  Hope it will only be an interlude before opening their gastropub in downtown Lansing.
