Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).
Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

ok, a tradition it is! assuming cultivate will be open again. leave at 11, lakefront, 7-9 miles. Advance forecast: high 38°, mostly cloudy, SW 16, 25%. hoping for a break from the tradition of extreme weather and in particular not a repeat of:
