Chicagoland Beer Exploration Society

Information

Chicagoland Beer Exploration Society

Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).

Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

Routes on Ride with GPS, here.

On Facebook, here.

On Twitter, here.

Lists of breweries and brewpubs (and other beer things): on Facebook, and on Twitter.

10:30a @ River Park, SW corner of Foster x Francisco should give us time for lunch before Bosacki's.

Sunday would be fine: dry and less humid.

Anyone interested in a free old-style trainer?  Can double as a bike stand for working on the back wheel, cleaning, etc.  Free for pickup.

Unfortunately I'm helping a friend move on Saturday. See everyone next time!

If its not wet Saturday, perhaps Mexican lunch in Mundelein -> Bosacki's -> Lake Bluff?  NNE wind should keep it cooler by the lake in the afternoon.
