Love this picture. My counterpart at the Victorian and Albert Museum took the train and his Brompton to work and kept the bike in his office. This means that many more Bromptons than the 42 parked outside may be indoors. Probably no automobiles in offices however.
Dang it, who locked me in parking their bromptons all around mine! How am I suppose to get out?
Does anyone have this bike? are they recommended for everyday riding? would love to get one....

I believe that Rapid Transit sells them. There are lots of people who ride folders as their everyday bikes. Bromptons have a huge following in Great Britain but are hard to get and are expensive here in the States. They also have some unique features that some find troublesome, like odd size wheels. If you're not hung up on British charm I think that Breezer offers a knock off for less and Dahon offers good folders for much less.

I just wanted to be the first with a Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy reference. Carry on.
I was very happy to see the number 42 get its own tag when I pasted the title into the "tags" box. Stay hoopy.
