Hey folks, wanted to let you know that we recently made some tweaks to our crash support service for people who have been in a crash while walking or biking.

The service, which has been in operation since 2010, now has its own stand-alone website and it's more phone friendly.

On the website, pedbikecrashsupport.org, you’ll find these resources:

  • Six steps you should take immediately after a crash
  • What you need to know regarding insurance, criminal and civil suites and general documentation.
  • Attorneys vetted by the Active Transportation Alliance
  • Details about your rights while walking or biking

And just as before, trained volunteers will help you navigate the process of filing a police report, making an insurance claim and finding legal assistance.

If you're one of the hundreds of people who have used this free service in the past, let us know about your experience.

Can this be made a sticky discussion, like the Stolen Bicycle discussion?

This deserves a bump.
