LFP Closure

I look forward to improvements on the Lakefront Path but detours must be provided while construction is underway. This is unacceptable:

(Southbound just south of E Waldron Drive)

The LFP between Burnham Harbor and the 31st Street Beach has been opened as of a few days ago. The Park District has been doing a great job keeping it clear and salted through this last storm. The new separated paths are nice!

FYI, not all of the path lighting is working yet. Headlights to see the path at night are still a must.

I very much doubt that pedestrians will use the sea wall even though it is the designated pedestrian path. It is hazardous this time of year and how many runners will choose to pound concrete? I'm just happy that this portion of the path is finally open.
