Cars take to park paths to avoid crash traffic on Lakeshore Drive.

What the hell was going through these drivers' minds? Even a CTA bus followed the lemmings into the grass. This is an example of the seriously messed up mentality people somehow adopt in auto traffic.

That video really says a lot about drivers in Chicago.  Absolutely nothing is going to hamper their God-given right to go wherever and whenever they want to go.

It looks like the cops were directing people onto Science Drive which doesn't actually get you around the path. people expected to be able to get back out onto the Drive and were looking for a way. The bus didn't get to the path, got stuck on the grass going that direction. What a mess.
