Anyone here planning on riding tomorrow's 200/100?

Anyone familiar with the route? Tips/pointers?

I'm going down there. My buddy road it last year and said it wasn't to challenging. It headed west to Byron and came back. The only real hill is climbing out of Byron otherwise it was kinda flat.
I know it's late but the que sheets are on the website now.
What happened here? My club brought 8 riders, which turned out to be half the field! The course was changed at the last minute due to road closures, resulting in several km of challenging gravel. I though it was a fun surprise.
Wasn't that fun? That's what 700c X 28-32mm kevlar belted tyres are for. Big wind, big heat... ah well. It wouldn't be a brevet without 20+ MPH headwinds.

Saw your bunch coming back while i was about 12 miles outside of Byron.

Was anyone doing the 100K?

28mm kevlar belted tires are nice, but that course was also a lot of fun on a fixed gear with 22mm sew-ups. Sure, the winds made the fixie a questionable choice, but it was still a great day.

You must not have seen me on some of the upwind or uphill sections. :)
