L.A.T.E. Ride is taking 2017 off.

"Hello LATE Riders. Some sad news, we will be taking a year off from the LATE Ride in 2017 to focus on some different events. Hope to see you in the parks or at one of our other events!"

After more than 25 years, and a change of month in 2016. Somehow I missed the announcement (dated last December) until now.

That's a staple of my riding year.

Let's ChainLinkers make it happen anyway.

It seems our community is losing a number of our established 'fun rides'. Tour de Fat, The L.A.T.E. Ride, even the Liar's Ride is cancelled! We have to work at reversing this trend. Ideas?

There is a late ride in Crystal Lake (Metra accessible) on August 5, 2017. 11pm to 2am.

Hi, Andrew! August 12th -13th would have been the night set for the late ride.
Anyone interested in any sort of basic random replacement ride for that night?

There's a late night (starting at midnight) ride happening in Whiting, Hammond and Munster on Aug 5th into the 6th, the WHAM ride. I did it a couple of years ago and will be doing it again this year. It's a blast. Lots of bikes lit up better than some Christmas trees. Choice of 10 mile or 30 mile routes. Just thought I'd toss this out in case anyone would be interested. :~)

WHAM Ride
