I see there are a few of us doing the North Shore Century this Sunday. If you don't already have plans to ride with friends maybe we can use this discussion to coordinate meeting up before the ride. I don't know where the ride leaves from, but I intend on riding up to the start in the morning. I live close to California and Belmont.

I am planning on going and can give somebody a ride if need be. Or we can ride together potentially. I plan on doing the fully century.  I live in Uptown.

If you plan on leaving the registration table to start the ride around 7am do you want to meet up with Leah, Jeremy, and me? I don't route we're taking to get to there so it may be easier to meet up near the registration table. Leah will be wearing Chianlink kit, Jeremy a blue and black road suit, and I'll be in a Sierra Nevada top and black shorts. Hope to see you there!

yes I can do that.

I'm sorry we missed you. We waited until 7:10 or so but I had no idea how crowded the registration area would be. Should have come up with a better plan. Hope you had a great ride!
I'm planning on doing the full century and riding to the start. I was hoping to depart from the Start/Finish area by 7am to get home at a reasonable time, however, I'd rather not ride by myself either so I'm flexible on the start time.

I haven't received the route map yet, has anyone else? Do the century and metric century follow the same route for the first 25 miles?
Sounds like a plan. I haven't received my Chainlink kit yet so I'll be in civilian kit. Depending on when Josh intends to leave maybe we could swing through Uptown and meet up with him.

I'm also doing the full century, and I'm adding some miles to the start/finish to make it an even 200k (if my legs will let me). I'd like to get going as early as possible, but riding with others takes priority.

Leah, I'm happy to meet at Damen & Webster at 6, and I know the route to the start well so if I remember to drink enough coffee I shouldn't get lost. :) I'll be wearing a blue/black road suit on my tiny bike.

To make it easier I'll meet you and Jeremy at 6am at Damen and Webster.

I'll let you guys know later today if I can meet with you. Definitely would be good riding together.  Not sure if I"ll ride up or drive yet. Will let you know around 6 this evening..need to see if I can get my rack working. I'm doing the apple cider ride next weekend so will be fun times.

I'm going to drive up there so if you guys want to meet up there that's fine (or if you want a ride I can meet you at Lawrence and Damen abouts).  I can take two more bikes if you can remove the front wheel off one.

I"m thinking of starting around 7 or so  Would be great to ride together. I'm planning on doing the regular century.  I could start anytime between 7 and 7:30.

This was an awesome ride! Huge shoutout to Geoffrey for putting up with my endless blatherings on and pushing me to ride at a significantly faster pace than I ever knew I could for that duration.

I'm sure you would have been fine. Aside from a great ride with good company,
I learned a lot about bicycles and I got to see some great double takes when other riders noticed you riding a fixed gear. Have fun at the Apple Cider Century. I wish I could join you.
