Hi chainlinkers, I'm listing my wife's Castro Valley for her. Selling because we have too many bikes and this one doesn't get ridden enough to justify it.
This is a flat bar road bike, optimally used as a commuter bike or light touring bike. Has all the braze-ons for racks and fenders, plus a Shimano dynamo hub in front so you never have to worry about your batteries running low for the handlebar-mounted headlight. Clearance for large tires if you want more cushion or want to ride on gravel or mild trails. Most years of the Castro Valley just came with a single chainring in front, however for this year they offered a double chainring which greatly increases versatility.
*2x9-speed trigger shifters
*Sugino crankset
*ODI grips
*Vittoria Randonneur 700x28c tires w/ reflective sidewall
*Tektro cantilever brakes
*Cane Creek headset
*Can include fenders (black, not pictured)
*Have a rear rack for it that we can negotiate as well if wanted.

I do have one question. I see that 61cm is the largest Bianchi makes. Do you think it is adequate for someone 6'3"? Steve
Hey Steve,
Yeah I honestly do think that it's an appropriate frame size for someone 6'3". It's actually a little too tall for my wife and I who are a couple inches shorter than that - she's now on a 58 and happier so it'd probably be a good fit for you. If you are interested in coming by and checking it out, send me a direct message here or email me through the craigslist link. I'm around Milwaukee and Belmont.
