By Anna Affias, Photo by Ronit Bezalel Anna received a pair of Tifosi Synapse optics with Light Night Fototec and immediately put them to the test, wearing her new pair while racing at the Skyway Criterium Series last Spring. Weather conditions changed significantly through out the week, putting the light-changing lenses to the test. Since then, she's worn the pair at a number of races and rides and shared her thoughts on her pair. When it comes to racing and riding your bike, having protective [and stylish] eyewear is essential. Whether you’re riding in full sunlight or on a cloudy day, having “the right” pair of sunglasses is vital to your success. With so many options on the market, it’s difficult to know what features you want and it’s easy to become overwhelmed by all the choices. I recently had the pleasure of testing out a rad pair of Tifosi Optics sunglasses, and I’m here to share a handful of juicy deets about the product. Photo by Nichie Schaeffer Upon receiving my glasses, I was instantaneously excited and thrilled to learn the green neon accent color around the glasses matched my helmet and gloves perfectly (this was very important). Secondly, I couldn’t wait to experience the photochromic light-to-dark lens feature. At first glance, I wasn’t convinced this function was real, however, as day turned to night, to my pleasant surprise, it worked perfectly! This feature not only saves me time and energy on switching out lenses, it also takes much of the, “should I go dark or light” stress out of the picture. Other reasons I fell in love with my Tifoso Optics glasses were, their comfortable yet secure fit, their lightweight yet sturdy feel, and their overall shape.
So, whether you’re looking to go fast or just want to leisurely ride, adding a pair of Tifoso sunglasses to your biking fleet is a must! Stylish, comfortable, practical and reasonably priced, you can't go wrong! Shortly after finding her love for racing bikes, she joined the Spidermonkey Cycling team and started racing bikes almost every weekend.
