No cyclocross here....so I guess I won't be riding any time soon. I do X-country ski and Deer Grove in Palatine is a great place to go. The snow is great but the cold is keeping me inside. As soon as it warms up a bit i am gonna get on my skis.

Hi...I can't imagine Busse is ridable this time of year (not that I'm going out in this cold). They don't clear the path do they? If so, I might want to try some winter riding. I've never really gone out this time of year.

By the way, the llama place sounds cool. The Elk in Busse Woods are preety cool, too.

Cool...I ride to Busse a lot, too. From my place to Busse Woods, one loop through and back is almost 20 miles. I do one or two loops for a nice workout. I ride with a friend from Arlington Hts to Long Grove sometimes and enjoy the peaceful, very affluent neighborhoods once you cross Lake Cook Road. I agree about ridin BUsse during the week. I hate the crowds. Early on weekends can be OK, too.

Hey I see you're in the NW suburbs, too. I'm in Arlington Heights. Where do you ride in the burbs?
