About me:
I'm just an old (formerly) fat dude having the time of my life riding the rural roads of Illinois.
My first bike:
My first bike.... Now there are some memories there. It was a Schwinn Deluxe Typhoon (aka the TANK) That bike was my primary source of transportation for many years before I learned what a car can bring to the party. Before the days of helmets and safety "rules" that bike went through a lot. From riding off cliffs into rivers, to hitting walls, and even riding around with three people on the bike. As I said it was a tank and I was so disappointed when I came home from the Navy and found it gone. Oh, but the memories.
