Chest-compatible Chrome bags?

My mom gave me a great birthday gift: a backpack from Chrome. Unfortunately I can't really use it. The chest strap, while adjustable to an extent, seems to rest in exactly the wrong spot relative to…Continue

KayCee - what time on the 19th?  In the S. Loop right?

Kaycee--great idea.  We are meeting with the mentor group this weekend. I am not sure if we have any moms in the group, but will mention it for sure.

Hi KayCee,

I'm very interested in your playgroup/bike clinic, but my daughter is only 4 months old now. I've been thinking about when/how I can get her on a bike and would love to hear from others about what they've done. I'll plan to come, but probably not by bike with the baby... yet.

So... I'm hosting a "playgroup/ bike clinic" on Thursday, June 19th.  I'd like to just get some moms in my neighborhood to show up and talk about bikes and ask questions and maybe- maybe- ride some. There are a lot of moms who seem interested in trying out biking but a bit apprehensive about riding (I think in the streets especially.) Is anyone interested in hanging out, talking about your bike or experience, and going for an easy paced ride in the South Loop?  I'll be posting in our Kidical Mass group as well, since a few organizer from the North side said they might be able to help out.  Thanks in advance!  Happy Women's Bike Month!

Hello all! We just opened a women-owned bike/run/swim store in the west loop. We'd love to meet you all!

Have you all invited your friends to the Day of Dialogue next Saturday? Great presentations, great space, and so far the weather looks like it will cooperate.  Ask them to register at wbikechi2014.eventbrite.com

Liz, see my friend request. :-)  The message about the flyers is probably in your e-mail since I sent a message to the group.

Ok, I could've sworn I saw a message about flyer distribution...where did it go??

Anyway, I would love to help distribute some flyers but I cannot pick them up Saturday at 10 because I will be at the bike shop where I work in Evanston.

I might be able to help with some planning. Sounds fun!

I'd like to join the planning group!
