I'll be there, but starting way back in the second wave, I never got my corral assignment changed (not that I'm fast enough to start in corral B, anyway). 55 is perfect running weather for me!

Anyone doing tomorrow's Turkey Trot or the new Evanston  5K ride

I'll be at the Evanston Flying Turkey Ride.

I ran the Chicago Half Marathon as well. It was great, my first race ever. I am also running the full marathon on Oct. 9th

You guys are motivating me to run again.  A bunch of us did the ravenswood 5K at the beginning of the summer, that was a blast.  Running and biking seem to be such a good combo activity to keep in shape.  Everyone keep up the good work.  One day I'll do a tri.

Can anyone recommend a group to run/ride with in the city?

Hello fellow running riders. . . I think I am not at your level (with all this talk of 10 milers and marathons :) but I have my eye on the half in September. Anyone else registered? I am blogging about it a bit: http://inthenext40.org/2011/07/05/putting-in-the-miles/

I need to go from 3-5 miles to 13.1 in two months. Ack.

I'm running a marathon in Reyjavik Iceland Aug 20th, but trying to train in Chicago.  I have trouble with motivation when I run by myself.  I run about 10:30/mile.  Anyone want to run with me during the week, either morning (6am) or evening after work?

I'm running the Portland Marathon, which is on the very same day as Chicago, but training in the windy city!

I did about 6 on Monday... and died out at 4 today. I also have a headache from today's run and I am not looking forward to having to bike home after work. Everyone be safe out there!!

How is everyone holding up with the heat? I did a five mile the other day and couldn't help but get a headache from the sun. 90+ isn't the funnest to run in.
