Please get in touch with me about a meeting for the Chicago to Madison ride on Memorial Day weekend. I want to schedule the meeting at some time between March 16 and March 22.

We will not be supporting riders who only show up on the same day as the ride. This is a multi-day event and we should get to know each other beforehand (as I'm sure you would agree). Same-day riders will only be welcome as far as Kenosha where they can take a train home. Same-day riders will not receive a route map.

I will only schedule one more meeting unless another is called for by the group. I am unable to attend Chainlink rides otherwise due to my course and work schedule at my college.

This is most important for the safety and function of the group so that we will be a team when we are in the middle of the Wisconsin wilderness.

Thanks so much for organizing this, Rachel. I had a blast (sorry I had to peel off at Berteau), and I'm totally looking forward to next month's ride! :-)

Thank you both. The ride was very fun. It was great meeting everyone and our mass drew alot of smiles. We also reached a Critical size to feel the respect from (most of) the cars! There's now a photo album of the ride on my page - check it out! And, I have a film clip showing all going by (couldn't upload) - I can email it to anybody interested.

Hey Rachel...Congrats on a very successful, first NSCM ride.

You did a great job planning it out, and it was really a fun ride. Don't worry about the minor glitches...that's what happens in an anarchy.

And yeah, the group that continued heading to Wicker Park continued the fun and good cheer. We stopped for a while at the Black Rock on Damen for beer and chicken wings, and thus re-fortified, continued to the Art Show/Calendar Sale.

It was great. Probably a better crowd than any Art Show I can remember. And many of the "pin-ups" were there, selling and autographing the calendars. (The calendars were selling like hotcakes).

All in all, a fine night. See you next month.

And I hope to see a few of you the week before for our Evanston ride on March 6th!
