I liked the Joshua Tree but thought they went downhill after that. Nobody even suggested them for the St. Patrick's day mix.

rik i took the lakefront path for most of the trip till around 71st...you are right that my speed was a little too fast for a group ride that 'masses' but for most group rides 16mph is way slow....I ride on mass rides for companionship and revelry hence my penchant for bars and making merry. If I want to really ride I go solo...the gutterball takes no prisoners... I bleed beer !!!
