Soo Aaron found a diamond in the rough !!!
GREAT FIND Aaron. ... Keep up the good work..
On Northwest Hwy right before the light of Touhy ave. is a bunch of stores with ice- cream food, etc.
Cross referencing, this Friday's ride event posting is here.
There I mention: Anyone got a special yearning? Somewhere with free beer? Maybe Gelatos and folk music? I'm out of ideas as we've done everything. If the weather's beautiful, I wouldn't mind doing Bahai again. Thoughts?
Weather may not be beautiful, and I don't ride in much rain. But that aside...
My (ok, Crystal's) newest idea is a photobooths tour BUT I can't find any between us and Irving Park. NORTHSIDERS PLEASE know of any north side photobooths. Basically there's a photobooth desert from Irving Park (Holiday Club) to Morse (Heartland). South though there's literally several dozen. If there's none (I did heavy web searches, but no calls), it might not be a worthwhile NSCM idea. Unless we shoot straight to Irving Park, then there's like eight of them by Diversey Bowl. Just one, at Argyle for example, would make a difference. And/or I'll bring a photobooth app. GO SEE THE PLOT. What say you? Think hard! Ask around.
That was amazing as usual. The "Artsy Ride" visited "Peace and Justice" (kids playing sculpture in Peace Park LFT at Buena), "Kwanusila" (the totem pole at Waveland), the Diversey cloverleaf, "Curve XXII" (the monolith at Fullerton), Honeycomb Pavilion (LP south pond), Oz Park sculptures and more, ending at Vaudezilla Burlesque (including Ammo's grinder show) at Lincoln Tap.
