Does Anyone know of karaoke bar/food places. We're going to do the karaokee thingie :-)The October N.S.C.M ride. So if you know of some good places with this please tell us. It does need to hold at least 30-50 people.(To be safe side) I know of a couple were we can get our own room. This if you would chip in . They do rent by the hour, so if we get 30riders that's like $3.00 per person. Something like that

Slightly OT: Invitation to a Bike Ride

When? Sunday, October 4th
Time? 10:00 AM
Where: South end of the Sauganash Trail, http://tinyurl.com/mqgu5c
Bryn Mawr and Kostner Avenue
Host and mover: Alderman Margaret Laurino of the 39th Ward

Reason: to explore Sauganash and some history of the area (Ald. Laurino is a history major graduate of Northeastern)

REAL reason: to convince another alderman that bicycling is taken seriously by a lot of the city's residents!

It's a short ride, but everyone is invited so we can get a MASSIVE turnout, as many as possible, far more than Ald Laurino is expecting.

That place was great. Walk through the liquor store to get to the pizza joint. I also liked the singer, "You guys biked 15 miles today? All I did today was wake up and smoke a pack of cigarettes."

Yeah Tony, it was an interesting place. At first I was confused about the live singing with the piano at the pizza place...it felt like the twilight zone...but then I started liking it.

Marie's Pizza is awesome. One of those hidden gems. You can pick out a bottle of wine in the store and they'll bring it to your table. Live music usually on Fridays. and their delivery range is gigantic. Greaat pick Tony.

BTW- where is Albany Park Bikes.

Bob,

Great pictures as always. It was great to see familiar faces as well as many new faces on the NSCM ride. I met Eric, Kelly, George, Freddy, Carol...just to name a few. It was great people, fun ride and terrific food. Can't wait till next month's ride.
