Eat to ride, ride to eat

Eat to ride, ride to eat

Calling all foodies, gastronomes, and gluttons alike! I'm proposing a monthly get-together that rides to a destination that offers delectable comestibles. Destination decided by the group. Initial ideas are Pizza Art, Hero's, Smoque. Endless options!

Aveo: the ride went well! the only issue, looking back, was finding outdoor seating. we ended up sitting in a parking lot in order to all eat together. the ride distance wasn't far, about 3.5 miles to get there from the meet-up spot, but then we got to stand around in line chatting for an hour. all in all a great day

alice n friends is yummy. do you guys think that once a ride destination is decided that it can go on the calendar and/or forum? I am not so good at checking in with the "groups" section.

The first real food ride of 2009 and I'll miss it since I'll be flying back to Chicago. When and where is the next one?

I have to get over this wicked head cold before I can commit to any weekend eatnride activities. Not only do I feel like total dung, but I can't TASTE A THING right now. :-( And every time I head outside and breathe the cold air, it feels like my sinus cavities are being scraped with sandpaper.

I also have to meet a buddy at Union Station around 5ish, so I'll be playing it all by ear tomorrow.
