Eat to ride, ride to eat

Calling all foodies, gastronomes, and gluttons alike! I'm proposing a monthly get-together that rides to a destination that offers delectable comestibles. Destination decided by the group. Initial ideas are Pizza Art, Hero's, Smoque. Endless options!

Hey for what it is worth, I am doing a ride on Saturday which is an architectural tour of Forest Glen. We meet at 1:00, take off about a quarter after and it is a 15 mile ride with narration about the architecture and history of the area. At a pace of 15-20 mph when riding, we would probably finish up around 4:00 at Queen of All Saints (6280 N Sauganash Ave). From there, it is more or less a straight shot west on Devon and south on Milwaukee to Amitabuls (6207 N Milwaukee Ave).

Often people are looking for things to do after the ride and I can't always join in, but it seems like it might be a neat tie-in with riding/eating/etc.

Here's the route and event page....

i am reinforcing the move for amitabul as the alt-veggie-burger option. it's even vegan-friendly!

as for the veggie ride, please refer to my previous post, amitable would be a great place to ride to, plus the menu/prices are geat, and a bit of a departure from the typical "veggie-burger" menu

Hi I'm new to the group. I did a search for Calumet Fisheries at 3259 East 95th Street, Chicago, IL 60617 and didn't see anything about them. I saw it on No Reservations, and my fisherman friend said that local fisherman bring their catch there to get smoked. The fish they sell is not from lake michigan though. Their menu items look real tasty.
