Eat to ride, ride to eat

Calling all foodies, gastronomes, and gluttons alike! I'm proposing a monthly get-together that rides to a destination that offers delectable comestibles. Destination decided by the group. Initial ideas are Pizza Art, Hero's, Smoque. Endless options!

Does anyone have a good Andersonville or Uptown suggestion for a ride of indetermined numbers on November 29? This is the tour of Uptown and Andersonville. Rides can be up 100 and up, but usually get together-after the riders total between 12 and 30.....ideas?

Hi everyone,

We are having a bike tour on Sunday of Lincoln Square. Afterwards we thought we would get together at Bad Dog Tavern to drink, eat and hang-out. Thought I would post a quick comment on the wall here in case anyone in E2R, R2E was keen.

More info on the ride is here:

More info on Bad Dog Tavern is here:

Hope to see some of you there.

Hi Shaw, we ended up doing it today but I think we'll probably revisit soon in other to catch some of the great stands that we missed. No firm plans yet though.

Sounds like a plan. Shaw--from Bucktown just head south on Milwaukee then left/east on Division until you hit Halsted (800 West). I'll be on the SW corner. See you this Sunday! The forecast looks promising.

How's about shooting for noon at division/halsted and then going south from there?

Hey all! Just a reminder. We have critical mass this Friday...6:30 mass up, 7 - take off! Meet up where Ridge, Clark and Thorndale meet up. Explore neighborhoods you rarely make it to on the downtown Chicago Critical Mass. Bring your best friend. Bring your mom. Bring your boss. Bring your co-worker who has never even taken public transit to work, let alone rode a bike. This is going to be great. Haul your trailer up north, and get ready for fun. The theme is New Orleans as we say goodbye to northside rider Jason. Bring your beads. Whoot! Whoot! We're going to have some fun! Heeeeeeyyyy yeah!

Earlier is fine, especially if the market closes at 3. I'm pretty far south in hyde park so I'm fine with meeting up some where south of the totem pole. Just let me know where.
