Eat to ride, ride to eat

Eat to ride, ride to eat

Calling all foodies, gastronomes, and gluttons alike! I'm proposing a monthly get-together that rides to a destination that offers delectable comestibles. Destination decided by the group. Initial ideas are Pizza Art, Hero's, Smoque. Endless options!

Anyone up for a pre-xmas ride to wing nite at high dive?

Tuesday 12/21

$0.25 wings (Buffalo, BBQ, Spicy BBQ)

$3.50/$4.00 drafts

what makes these wings amazing is that they are fried, then grilled.

Next "Shortest Ever" ride is happening Monday, August 30th. This month's ride leads us to Korean Bbq and Sushi... event details here!

Dear fellow foodie friends and cyclists-

Forgive the shameless plug for my new small food business, check us out at: www.poshnoshparty.com

We'd love for you to become a fan on Facebook (search for Posh Nosh)

We'd also like you to become a fan in real life!
Posh Nosh makes its debut at the Evanston Farmers' Market on Saturday, May 22. We'd love for you to come visit and try samples of our products--Noixelles and Artisanuts. I usually ride my bike to Evanston, and it's a great ride and can be a pitstop onto further rides north.

Thanks so much for reading and hope to see some fellow Chainlinkers this summer!

Best,
Dao : )

Not much of a ride for me, but I would love to join anyone for Pho around Argyle.

Lets get Pho soon!!! Great winter soup. Mixed reviews, but I prefer Viet Pho over Tank.

Hard to really mention this place on an ostensibly foodie group's site, but we are doing a ride of Hyde Park this Saturday, and getting together after the ride at Jimmy's Woodlawn Tap for bar eats and drinks afterwards. Hope to see some of you on the ride and at Jimmy's!

Cheers - Lee

Hey Lee; Iknow the owner of fireside. I've ended # of rides there. They have a veggie menu. I know if you call me on this. I can get us a drink deal/or food whichever. Also give them a heads up on about how many people . They we have it closed just for us. Thanks Tony

I don't know the area very well, but In Fine Spirits has fantastic cocktails, in the vein of the Violet Hour, but they still have a few more rungs to go 'till they reach those inspired heights. Their wine list is great and the food pairs well with it.

Hamburger Mary's is iconic, but I'm not a fan of Reza's nearby. Hop Leaf has great food as well as beer, but good luck getting 12 people to fit in there.
