When is it again? I know the owner of El Zocalo!

You can do the whole BTT ride without breakfast and be done at or before 930am. Its also close enough to the train depot to make it in a matter of minutes.

Remember, tomorrow, September 1st is the last day to register for Tour de Troit *and* get a t-shirt. You can register on-line. Our registration numbers are rising quickly. We had 760 registrants earlier this evening. It's going to be a biggie.

Andy,

What time does the BTT ride usually end, more or less? I'd love to make it before the TdT - and will even drag my ass out of bed early enough to ride down from GPP for it - but I'm offering to volunteer to help with the TdT too, and I don't know what the time gap would be. I'd love to have time to do some shopping at EM (old rituals are hard to let go of, and it makes me happy) but you can't do everything. I'll be in town this weekend too for the jazz festival, but not sure about getting up early.

El zocalo is good but not for breakfast or bike parking my friend. :)
We can see our bikes through the windows of Galanes. Coming to do it Aaron?

We will have to see if time will permit us to make that stop at Los Galanes. I am sure some will. i plan on being pre registered to stream line that process. Nostupidquestions!

After living in Detroit for almost forty years my family was forced to make a decision based on our kids education. My oldest daughter was approaching high school age and our options were becoming more limited. She was a charter school student til 6th grade. Then just before she was to start her 3rd year at the only all girls catholic school in Detroit, they announced they were closing after assuring us they were in for the long hall. It was the hardest decision we ever made as a family but it was clear we had to leave. My wife and I still work in the city. We still own property in the city and at least I look forward to moving back to the city when our youngest completes high school. Its really my comfort zone.

The burbs. Royal Oak. I have a home office, but my work is in Detroit. Given the housing market, a lot of folks who want to move downtown can't without taking major losses on their current house.

Todd you live in Detroit, or the burbs I should say?
