Not exactly frame building, but component building. I was a hobby woodworker before moving to a condo in the city. I have miniaturized my shop setup and started making wooden fenders. There are some people on the west coast, but, being a designer I wanted to make things simpler and more elegant - showcasing the exotic woods instead of gaudy inlay work.

I craft the hardware from stock stainless, aluminum and re-purposed spokes and nipples using hacksaws and files. I have power tools, such as a drill press, stationary disc/belt sander etc... but find that working with my hands on the small stuff is A more fulfilling and B works better.

I would be more than happy to make some custom fenders for any builder in exchange for lessons, parts or money. I can make them very customized with the exception of radius (optimum setup is a 14in radius, i think, but larger can be done). Flat and curved profiles, bake notches, water shedding channels, custom wood configurations, widths up to 2 inches, lengths up to 180 degrees and more.
