Information

Chicagoland Beer Exploration Society

Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).

Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

Routes on Ride with GPS, here.

On Facebook, here.

On Twitter, here.

Lists of breweries and brewpubs (and other beer things): on Facebook, and on Twitter.

Bob, I could be up for Imperial but liking Friday afternoon better at this point, weather-wise if that works at all? Leave Noon-ish. Too soon for accurate forecasts though. Keep me posted. Thinking something like https://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/2099038924 (Orange Line home from Midway is an option)
