Information

Chicagoland Beer Exploration Society

Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).

Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

Routes on Ride with GPS, here.

On Facebook, here.

On Twitter, here.

Lists of breweries and brewpubs (and other beer things): on Facebook, and on Twitter.

take the train to and from Dune Park? there <-> Transient 73.2

Chicago -> Burn 'Em -> Dune Park ~ 96 miles via the Oak Savanna Trail.  The challenge is that the last two westbound trains from Dune Park are at 5:51p and 10:22p so an early start is required.
