Information

Chicagoland Beer Exploration Society

Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).

Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

Routes on Ride with GPS, here.

On Facebook, here.

On Twitter, here.

Lists of breweries and brewpubs (and other beer things): on Facebook, and on Twitter.

Any destination(s) in mind?

Anyone else have a day off tomorrow and feel like riding out to some breweries?

Natürlich, Serge.  Glad you had a good ride.  I was tempted but aim not to be out too late on Sundays.

Crown Point Brewing, Route 2 Brews, St. John Malt Bros, New Oberpfalz, Flossmoor.  109 miles total for me.  Got a little hot in the afternoon.
