Information

Chicagoland Beer Exploration Society

Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).

Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

Routes on Ride with GPS, here.

On Facebook, here.

On Twitter, here.

Lists of breweries and brewpubs (and other beer things): on Facebook, and on Twitter.

i see now it's a beer they've done (and i've had) before, this is "just" the 2019 "vintage". oh well what they have on tap looks good too. :-)

if we aim for the 2:38 train, get there maybe by 1? they open at noon.

Comment by bobweiser on April 26, 2019 at 5:31pm

but are you up for getting there on the early side?

Comment by bobweiser on April 26, 2019 at 5:22pm

but 2:38 from Tinley-80th would get me downtown at 3:35. that would be fine, too. more scenic, i'm sure, and only 11 mi shorter.
