Chicagoland Beer Exploration Society

Information

Chicagoland Beer Exploration Society

Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).

Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

On Facebook, here.

On Twitter, here.

Lists of breweries and brewpubs (and other beer things): on Facebook, and on Twitter.

Sounds like south first, then tailwind coming home. I was thinking to go to Calumet Park and turn around to get my 50 mile badge.  Anything around there except Calumet Fisheries?  Pick up some smoked fish?

it's only a matter of time before someone brews a propane beer

Thanks Steve, great ride. I nominate Bob's pannier. I think he'd carry it if we told him it was a growler.

Comment by djm on October 24, 2020 at 4:14pm

Will this propane tank will fit in the pannier?  We may have to tow it.

Thanks for organizing, Steve.

Thanks for the great ride.  Next time we bring some propane in Alina's pannier.
