Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).
Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

nevermind, i see that won't work, you have a schedule!
have to take someone to the airport tomorrow. her flight's at 11:30. i should get her there by 10? i could maybe be back by 10:45?
Last time I left before dawn to intercept the morning South Shore train at Dune Park with time for a coffee stop en route, but thats not necessary tomorrow.
I cant ride w Bob tomorrow due to work commitments. Where are you departing from Serge?
Dan - define an early start
enjoy!
didn't ride across iowa, so riding across indiana instead lol
take the train to and from Dune Park? there <-> Transient 73.2
Chicago -> Burn 'Em -> Dune Park ~ 96 miles via the Oak Savanna Trail. The challenge is that the last two westbound trains from Dune Park are at 5:51p and 10:22p so an early start is required.
