Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).
Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

also saw that the new 43rd st. bridge is going to be like the 41st. so much blue. one of them could've been golden!
posted! as is traditional in jan., departing Daley Plaza at 10 AM and collecting riders at Promontory Point at 10:45 AM. if I myself stop for lunch, it'll be takeout.
ugh, i hear it's safer to "choose to wear a mask in all indoor public settings". no lunch stop at all? it's a long time to stay outside when the High is 27F.
best of dwindling options for First Step seems to be Sun.? though a headwind both ways. :-/
the 1/1 wave but unfortunately not the O wave
