Chicagoland Beer Exploration Society
Information
Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).
Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

Ilter and I are doing a ride down the Fox this Sat. if anyone is interested. While not booked as a beer ride, we do go by two breweries. If someone is feeling parched and needs to get a drink, I won't argue.

it was a breeze getting here, and they're only out of 2 beers. $8 for a flight of 6 is a great deal. and they have wifi. ask for anne, she's a sweetie, and a biker, too, or at least she was until her bike was stolen.
