Chicagoland Beer Exploration Society

Information

Chicagoland Beer Exploration Society

Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).

Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

Routes on Ride with GPS, here.

On Facebook, here.

On Twitter, here.

Lists of breweries and brewpubs (and other beer things): on Facebook, and on Twitter.

Sounds good.  I'd knock off the Manhattan one and save that one for when we visit the one in Bourbannais (it seems like it would be on the route).

Hey Serge, I'll be at the same Noon session. I'll buy you a beer if I run into you. Try to pick me out without my mask on.

I'm heading out now to see what Des Plaines river trail conditions are like and planning on riding as far as Dundee. If conditions are good then next Saturdays ride will go as planned. If not plan b!
